[IT SESSIONS SCHEDULED BY HISTIYBODIES Dr, J. A. Woodburn Will Address Luncheon Here Dec, 10. TJtader Joint ausploes of the Sodstjr at Indiana Pioneers, the Indiana Historical Society and the Indiana Historical Bureau, the eighth Indiana history conference will be held at the Claypool, Dec. 10-11. Dr. James A. Woodburn, head of the historical department at Indiana University, will speak at a luncheon of the Indiana Historical Society, Dec. 10., Other speakers win be Herbert Briggs of Terre Haute and William Fortune of Indianapolis. Election of new officers and general business will take place following the luncheon. -■ Scenery Is Subject Mrs. Frank J- Sheehan of Gary wIU speak at a general session later in the afternoon. Frank M_ Hohen berger of Nashville will give an illustrated lecture on Indiana scenery. At 6 p. m., with Judge Roscoe Kiper of Boonville the dinner of local historical societies will be given at the Columbia dub. Elmore Barc-e of Fowler will speak. Carl Sandburg, noted poet, will speak on Abraham Lincoln at a general session of the conference at 8 p. m-, Friday. William P. Dearing, president of Oakland City College, will preside. Delegates to the indlana Library Association and the Indiana Library Trustees* Association will meet Jointly. Dinner at Night . The history session of the State Teachers' Association will meet with the other historical organizations at the final day's sessions Dr. Woodburn will preside at a breakfast at the University Club.
