SEVERAL CHANGES NOTED ON STATE ' ROADSTERS WEEK Bridge Near Lebanon Ready —Grading on 32 Completed. Many changes in the condition of State roads were noted this morning in the commission’s traffic bulletin issued from the office of John D. Williams, director, due to completion of considerable construction kork in progress all summer. Outstanding betterments for public service were listed as completion of anew bridge near Lebanon and grading near Lapel on Rd. 32; completion of a big bridge at Hiser’s Station, ten miles west of Richmond, and completion of bridge wash on U. S Highway 40; removal of a detour at Jasper on Rd. 56, occasioned by city paving; completion of a bridge near Plainville on Rd. 57, and completion of resurfacing Rd. 67, near Ft. Harrison. \ttention was called to the fact ”t”d the new gravel fill at the Riser Station bridge packs heavy, . i.i.uic may experience some ■ rliculty negotiating this stretch. It was further pointed out by Williams that weather permitting it is hoped by Sunday to open U. S. High way 150, between Paoli and Hanlins Iburg, and remove a twenty-mile de"tour in force all summer while this construction was in progress. This is a Federal route direct between New Albany and Vincennes and the Illinois line, and the improved road will be of material advantage to overland traffic this winter.
