Coal prices have been Increased at the eastern mines as a result of trade demands and the boosts have been reflected in local retail coal prices, lie said. “The farm market for coal has opened up later this year than usual, due to the open fall, and if is a question now whether the railroads will he able to handle the rural demands." he asserted.
