ARDATH AND TIMES CONTINUES BIG HUNT FOR TALENT
Palace Theater to Aid Indianapolis Future Performers — B Chance to Try Out Their Talent Before Noted New York Keith- Alhee Variety Producer. Hunting down talent for the Ardath-Times presentation of possible future vaudeville talent at the Palace soon is a job of real pleasure. Since the first announcement, Ardath’s representative and The Times have been congratulated on aiding talent in this city to get a vaudeville hearing.
Fred Ardath, vaudeville star, who comes to the palace Nov. 14 with his Merry Wags, has heen producing for Keith-Albee for more than a year and desires new talent and new faces for his productions and productions designed for the vaudeville circuits. The Times is broadcasting his call. If you have felt the call of the stage, if you have ability and talent in entertaining; if you have received training in dramatic art or music this may be your opportunity to break before the spotlight. The Times in no way is acting as a booking agency for vaudeville acts. It merely is acting in a spirit of cooperation to dig up any possible talent. Vaudeville managers from various parts of the country have signified their intention of being in the city for Ardath’s opening. High officials, snouts and hookers also will be in the audience, it is announced at the Palace office. Letters from theater officials indicate that Ardath's presentations will be watched closely. In the opening presentation. “Welcome, Fred,” Miss Claire Hanson, a former Marion (Ind.) girl, Chauncey Gray and his Versatile Four will be featured. Anew song written by Ardath and Gray, entitled “My Indiana Home," dedicated to Miss Hanson, will be ini reduced during the engagement.
