CITES NEWSPAPER AS BUSINESS AID Advertising Man Gives Points of Best Medium. Power, mobility and economy are the three salient points of newspaper advertising, F. Guy Davis, dhicago. Western manager of the bureau of advertising of the American Newspaper Publishers’ Association, told thb Indianapolis Advertising dlub at Its luncheon at the Splnk-Arms. He said that newspapers today excell all other methods of advertising.* “Newspaper advertising has many distinct and excellent qualities. ’ he declared. "Newspaper advertising
space, computed on the basis of a definite circulation, has been found to be one-half- to one-fourth cheaper than the best magazine space available. Newspaper advertising has enabled industries to dominate many fields and all advertising is of interest to the welfare of the community.” After speaking of the general speeding up of life in America, the speaker stated that the newspaper as an advertising mediußj is the most efficient in meeting the conditions of the new era.
