STRESS IS PUT ON CITIZENSHIP Murray, Candidate for Prosecutor, Talks at P-0-L. ‘‘Citizenship not partisanship is the issue in this campaign,” declared Raymond F. Murray, Democratic nominee for prosecuting attorney, at a noon-day meeting at the Prest-O-Lite plant at the Speedway today. “Law enforcement, tax reduction and good government are the cardinal principals of the Democratic platform,” the speaker asserted. "For the past two years there has
been growing up in this community
a reign of lawlessness, openly defying not only the constitution and laws of the State of Indiana, but the Constitution and the laws of the United States as well. The people of this community themselves are not helpless to change these conditions. Those agencies charged with responsibility for law enforcement were elected by political parties. If the laws are not bfcing enforced, does not the principal of party responsibility justify the conclusion that a complete change of political administration would correct existing conditions in a great measure?
