Alabama fit., was taken into custody by Sergeant Q'Fonnor and squad after they found nineteen half-pint bottles of white mule in his car. Edna and William Lane, 1910 Calvin St., .were arrested after Sergeant Cox found flfty-one quarts of beer in their home. T. E. Martin, 1032 E. Washington St., drove in front of a police emergency car at Southeastern Ave. and Washington St., Thursday night it was said. Martin was charged with operating a motor vehicle whilp under the influence of liquor. Other alleged liquor violators in eluded John Spears, 36, of 612 S. West St., and Lee Shelton, 49, of 1626 W.
