NEW ARM ARE BOOKED FOR RADIO PROGRAM FRIDAY Old Favorites Also Will Appear as Part of Times’ Entertainment. Artists new to Indianapolis radio fans and others extremely well liked will be on The Indianapolis Times radioradio program Friday night over WFBM, Merchants Heat and Bight Company from the studio at the Severin. The old favorites will be the Universal Syncopators, a jazz and dance playing orchestra which was royally received last season on a Times program. There were so many requests for them that these musicians consented to arrange a special program for Friday night. Another favorite will be Leathe Emmons, a pianist. The new artists will include: Loe Mae Grady, a singer who will sing while Miss Emmons plays; Mrs. Joseph Chicoin, a professional singer of Chicago who is the guest of Mrs. Jack Smead of the Severin; Mr. Pauline Bede, guest of the pianist of the Universal Syncopators; Dillard E. Harker, baritone, in two groups of songs and Miss Frances McConnell. > There will be a lot of novelty as well as artists new to local radio fans. C., Wicks, pastor of All Souls Unitarian Church, who spoke at the Kiwanis, Club luncheon Wednesday at the Claypool.
