TWO HOURS That’s Enough Practice, Says Northwestern Coach. Bu Time x Rnerinl EVANSTON, 111., Oct. 13.—Two hours of practice a day is sufficient for developing a winning football team in the opinion of Coach Glenn Thistlethwaite of Northwestern. Trying out his theory this week to prepare his men for their opening conference game here Saturday with Indiana University, Coach Thistlethwaite has found, that the shortened hours have aided in keying up the players. ‘‘Under the two-hour ruling,” the coach said, "I have cut out all conditioning drill and jumped into essentials. Practice Is more interesting and the team is more keyed up. I would rather have my men a little out of condition than have them stale.” ANNUAL MARATHON Hu 7'i wr* Hnrrinl PORT CHESTER, N.
