STATE OFFICIALS GET NICE BOOSTS IN PAY VOUCHERS Increases Granted by Committee and Governor Total $7,500 Annually. Several State officials have been made the beneficiaries of salary increases totaling approximately $7,500 a year by the legislative finance committee and Governor Jackson, it became known today. The principal increase was a $2,000 a year boost in the pay of Louis J. Bailey, State librarian, who previously had received $4,000 a year. Bailey had been a State employe only a few weeks when the increase was voted. The salary of Conservation Director Richard Lieber was restored to $6,000, where it stood a year ago when the committee slashed off SI,OOO. Similar action was taken in the case of Highway Director John D* Williams, who also received the SI,OOO withheld during the past year. Pay increases not greater than S4OO a year were voted State Securities Commissioner David H. Jennings and O. PI. Greist, secretary of the teachers’* retirement fund. Each has been receiving $3,600 a year. The committee

High St., Hartford City, Jnd., has written an interesting letter telling how he conquered these ailments and got his health back. He says: “I suffered, with stomach trouble and a torpid liver for ten years. My appetite was poor and I was troubled with frequent attacks of biliousness. My complexion was yellow, I was troubled with constipation and all run down. I just had no pep at all. I tried different medicines and no*) mg' did me any good. Several friends recommended Viuna to me, so I tried it. After a couple of days I saw that at last 1 had found the medicine that I had been looking for. My appetite came back and the things I ale began to taste good to me. The bilious attacks stopped and my complexion began to clear up, so I kept right on, and now 1 feel fine. I can eat anything, my constipation Is gone, and for a man 63 years old, I am full of pep.” Vinna acts promptly on glugrglsl bowels, lazy liver and weak kidneys. Ii purities the blood, clears the skin, restores appetite and digestion, and brirtgi new strength and energy to the whole body, 'lake a bottle on trial.
