The Royal Terrace Orchestra Is 1 composed of Charles De Sautelle, saxophone and director; William | Eckstlne, piano; Hillard Frances, trumpet; Eddie Hicks, banjo, and Joe Decker, drums. This orchestra . plays regularly at the Fall Creek Dance Gardens. To Hear Choir Singer Charles E. Alwes, director of the Irvington M. E. Church choir, will sing several numbers during dance groups. This Is Alwes’ first appearance on The Times program. The program for this week only has been cut to one hour, to allow WFBM to broadcast; George Irish’s new Athletic Club dance orchestra, who are their season tonight. The Athletic-—dub orchestra has been given one-half hour by The Times. They will. be heard from I<T:3O to 11 p. m. Next week The Times will resume ll :yregular schedule from 9:30 to 11 o'clock. Carl Fohl, Times announcer, will have charge of the program, which will open-'with De Sautelle’s orchestra playing “Valencia,” “How Many Times.” "That’s Why I LoVe You" and “What’s Become of Joe.” Then Ahves will sing. “Tnvlctus," bv ITuhn, and “Sorter Miss You,” by Smith. Rules in the “Indianapolis First” movement window display contest were announced today by Ralph H. Edgerton, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce display committee. Applications to enter the contest will be mailed merchants fcn request. Judges for the two, districts will be namecKsoon, Edgerton stated. Bn United Preen EVANSVILLE, Ind„ Sept. 17. The Indiana conference of the Methodist 'Church will meet next year at the Irvington M. E. Church, Indifnapolis, It was announced here. The Irvington Church was selected late Friday at a meeting in which several churches entered bids for the conference, now In session. Friday’s program was devoted mostly to activities of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society of the conference, while candidates for the ministry were examine&'at a special session Friday afternoon.
