KLAN WILL BE ACM IN 1325 Jo Support Man, Not Issue, Says Evans. J?!/ Vnifrd Pres* WASHINGTON, Sept. 16— The Ku-Klux Klan membership plans to take an active part in the 1928 Campaign. But the organization. Imperial "Wizard Hiram Evans said today, will support "the man, not the issue, ’ even though prohibition, which it indorses, becomes the principal 1928 plank. But the Klan will never support A1 Smith for the presidency because he is a “nullifler,” Evans added. From the gist of Evans’ talks and speeches it is apparent that the wizard is more interested in foreign affairs than domestic problems. The Mexican religious controversy, the settlement of foreign debts and the restrictions of foreign immigration at its source were touched upon with unusual vociferousness. A resolution indorsing the stand of the Calles government and calling on Secretary of State Kellogg to continue a "hands-off’’ policy was the only motion of consequence passed by the Klan in the now ended klonvocatlon. The settlement of debts roused Evans to a fiery denunciation of debtor naWons, particularly FTance, when he' discussed it with newspaper men. "France should either pay the debts or repudiate them, say she is honest pr say she is dishonest,’’ Evans declared. NEW PASSENGER TRAIN SERVICE Pennsylvania and Wabash Change Sunday. New passenger service schedule, effective Sunday, has been announced by the Pennsylvania and Wabash Railroads, between Indianapolis, Toledo and Detroit. A Pennsylvania train will leave here at 10:15 p. in. daily, arrive at Detroit at 7:15 a. m., or Toledo at 7:30 a. m., over the Wabash. These new trains will carry through sleeping cars from Indianapolis to Toledo and Detroit, and from Detroit and Toledo to Indianapolis: also the Indianapolis-Ft. Wayne sleeping car, which formerly was handled on train 154, leaving Indianapolis at 10:02 p. m., via Richmond, and Indianapolis-Grand Rapids sleeping car, which formerly left Indianapolis In train 26, at 7:30 p. m.

AN Innovation in travel A convenience in keeping with the constant endeavor of the Baltimore &. Ohio to provide the beat possible service. This new arrangement makes possible an outstanding improvement for travelers —the Motor Coach Service from trainside at Jersey City to two new stations in the center of the uptown hotel, business and shopping districts. Incoming trains are met by coaches —you step from the train into the coach and (with your hand-bag-gage) are taken safely, comfortably and quickly to your real destination — the heart of New York. The passenger has choice of uptown or downtown routes. See map. \ The coach stations are located in the Pershing Square Building, on 42nd Street justeastof Park Ave-

Well-Known Kentucky Teacher Tells People How to Get Rid of Rheumatism, Lumbago, Stomach, Kidney and Nerve Ailments.
Scores Are Aided; Indianapolis Residents Relate Personal Experiences. Great interest centers in the coming of A. G. Payne, of Lexington, Ky., and his secretary, ,1. W. Gray, to the Haag Drug Stores, 114 Pennsylvania St., to tell people how to get rid of rheumatism, lumbago, dyspepAia, tired feelings, constipation and general poor health. Mr. Payne is well known throughout the country for his unique views on how to feel young and be vigorous at the age of sixty-five and his suggestions will be helpful. Mr. Payne comes from the Blue Grass Region in Kentucky, where the finest horses in the world are raised. He says that this is due to the fact that their soil produces a superior quality of hay. The best of burley tobacco is raised in this section. Mi - . Payne also says that many roots, barks and herbs are gathered in the Blue Grass region that possess high quality, given them by Nature, for making medicines. One of Mr. Payne’s greatest achievements is the discovery of a preparation known*- as "Husky," which surely puts new life into practically everybody that tries it. While Mr. Payne and his secretary have been in Indianapolis only a short time scores have called on them and told them how they have been relieved by Husky. Among the reports received at Haag's store is that of Mrs. D. Martinez, 114 W. Ohio St., this city. She says: “I have been an Intense sufferer with stomach trouble for seven years. My symptoms were bloating, palpitation of the heart and shortness of breath. Sometimes I was so dizzy that I could hardly stand on

ORDER BRIDGE ACTION City to Start Suits to End Deßaware St. Hazard. Board of works has ordered City Attorney John Ruckelshaus to file suits against persons who have failed to pay their assessments for the improvement of Delaware St. bridge approaches. Failure to pay has delayed acquisition of land at the south approach, producing one of the city’s leading traffic hazards, board officials said. .
A. G. Payne my feet. Often my back hurt me so badly that I would have to stop my housework and sit down. I spent a lot of money for different kinds of medicines and treatments, but nothing gave me permanent results. I was told about this new medicine — Husky—so I obtained a bottle and I must say it gave me almost instant relief. I have a good appetite and my food does not distress me. My back does not hurt me and I do not have to resort to the use of cathartics. In my estimation Husky is a wonderful medicine." Those who desire to learn more about Husky may do so at Haag's Drug Store, 114 N. Pennsylvania, where Mr. Payne and his secretary are giving free interviews to all who call. Husky may be obtained at all of the Haag stores and at other reliable drjtg stores everywhere. —Advertisement.
