CORN GROWERS' 1 BODY SPONSORS WHEATjRADING 97 Indiana Farmers Have Fields Inspected for Certification. Bu Times Special LAFAYETTE, Ind., Aug. 13. Ninety-seven Indiana farmers have had fields of wheat inspected for certification under the direction of the Indiana Corn Growers' Association during the summer of 1926. More than half of those fields have already' been certified by the certification Committee of that organization which met Aug. 2, at Purdue University and inspected the samples that had been received by that date. J. W. McCarty of Evansville, B. W. Widney of Columbia City, Roy Caldwell of Camden, Frank Banta of Franklin, Ralph Hoilman of Hope, F. E. Robbins and K. E. Boeson of Purdue University, chairman, comprise the committee. Both field and sample inspection are carried on under the direction of the Ipdiana Corn Growers’ Association and its report s os certified seed growers is being distributed to members, and to all interested parties. This list can be obtained from bounty agents or from the chairman of the committee at Lafayette. Rudy, Michigan Ambor, Fultz, Trumbull, Michikoff and Purkoff are the varieties certified this year.
