FOOD QUOTATIONS REPORTEDSTEADY Fall Apples Arrive in Large Quantities. No changes were made in fruit and vegetable prices today on the stands of the city market. Fall apples are arriving in larger quantities. New June apples were priced at 10 cents a pound and transparents were six pounds for 25 cents. Yellow peaches were plentiful, at four and five pounds for 25 cents, and white peaches were three pounds for 25 cents. Other prices included: Sugar pears, 10 cents a pound: Bartlett pears, three pounds for 25 cents; dewberries, 25 cents a quart; huckleberries, 20 to 25 cents a quart; cherries, 25 to 30 cents a quart; red raspberries, 20 to 25 cents a pint; alligator pears, 50 to 60 cents,each; tomatoes, two and three pounds for 15 cents; okra, 25 cents a pound; head lettuce, 5 to 15 cents; celery, three for 25 cents; green beans, two pounds for 25 cents, and peas, 10 to 15 cents a pound. Pickles were slightly cheaper, at 50 cents to $1 a hundred; white corn, five ears for 10 cents; golden bantam, six ears for 10 cents; Jersey sweet potatoes. 10 cents a pound: cabbage, 5 to 10 cents a head; long green melons, 50 to 60 cents; Sweetheart watermelons, 70 cents; Malaga grapes, 15 cents pound; seedless grapes, 10 cents a pound fresh lima beans, 70 cents a pound; shellout beans, 40 cents a pound; lemons, 20 to 40 cents a dozen, and limes, 50 cents a dozen.

Schortemeier today announced he will rule next week on whether the Adair Realty and Trust Company of Atlanta, Ga., will be permitted to resume sale of securities in this State. A hearing on charges of misrepresentation filed by the Indiana State Chamber of Cbmmerce, on basis of which the company's permit to sell securities was suspended, was concluded Wednesday. Points in the charges not touched on by Davis H. Jennings, State securities commissioner, in a report upholding the company were covered at the hearing. It is believed Schirtemeier will restore the license.
