Fla., July 30.—A wood tick is bringing the Sacred Bull of India, worshipped for centuries by the Hindus, to American dinner tables. The tick made it impossible to raise ordinary beef cattle in the Everglades. them to become infected and die. The Sacred Be.ll, or zebu, is impervious to the tick. 1 The first carload of the new fad meat was shipped to Louisville, Ky., by way of New Orleans. The cattle, averaging 1,100 pounds each, sold for 9 cents on the hoof.
