Bjj Unite# WASHINGT6N, July 21.—Warren McCray, former Governor of Indiana, now serving a sentence in Atlanta Penitentiary for using the mail# to defraud, will be given physical examinations periodically, according to Attorney General Sargent. “ McCray, who has applied for a pardon, was examined last week by a special Government physician, "but Sargent has not yet received the examlne/'s report on thfc prisoner's physical condition. McCray's pardon application is based chiefly on ill health. Sargent said the physical examination was necessary as the Government "did not want to do the man any injustice.” ,

Legion Men to Talk France Convention

John J. Wicker Jr. Representatives of the American Legion from five States will confer here Aug. 20 with John J. Wicker Jr., national travel director ' of the France convention committee of the Legion to plan the pilgrimmage of Legionnaires from this area “across the pond" in September, 1927. Wicker will arrive in New York soon from conferences with French government /officials regarding housing accommodations for'convention work. He will meet' with a number of such groups in the in the Middle West, far West and South. Those to attend the conference here will be Indiana, Kleber Hadley, Indianapolis; .Illinois, F\ J. Heckel, Bloomington; Kentucky, Raul Jagielky, Louisville; Ohio, J. J. Saslavsky, Columbus, and W. Virginia. Dr. James A. Duff, Martinsburg. when you can’t get results you just have to complain.
