J., July 19.—One man was killed today and another wounded when bandits attacked two messengers carrying week-end receipts of $5,000 from th® Reid Ice Cream Company to the bank. The bandits escaped in an automobile with the bag containing the money. They were followed by Depury Iflre Chief George Lynch and a motorcycle policeman for nearly a mile, the bandits firing at their pursuers as they wound through traffic.
