PLAN RITE!! FOR MISSGOODHART Secretary of Guardians’ Board Succumbs. Funeral services for Miss Caroline Goodhart, secretary of the Marion County boaccl of children's guardians, who died Tuesday night at the Methodist Hospital, will be held Thursday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Julia Belle TUtewiler, 1515 Park Ave. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. Miss Goodhart had been ill several months with heart disease. She was prominent in social work in the city. She was also secretary of the National Indorsers of Photoplays, a member of the Social Workers’ Club, Council of Social Agencies, Woman's Rotary Club, Woman’s Republican Club and the Indiana Society of Pioneers. She succeeded her mother as secretary of the board of guardians. Another sister, Mrs. David Ross, prominent in local club circles, also survives. INDIANS ON ‘WAR PATH’ Will Send Protest Against Despoliations of Estates. Bv United Press MUSKOGEE, Okla., July 7.—Five hundred members of the # council of the Creek Indian nation were homeward bound today, bent on further legal war paths against alleged despoiliations of Indian estates. The surviving members of jhe council, officially disbanded in 1906, rallied again yesterday in its old wampan building to examine two trust deeds of two notorious Creek estates, those of Katie Fixico Daniels and Woijsey" Deere John. OFFICERS WOULD ' NOTTOTHINGS’ So Brothers Get Fines and Terms From Judge. Because three police officer*- refused to listen and "fix it, two brothers. Dell Barker. 24, and Lee Barker, 31, both of 1923 N. Harding; gt., were fined SIOO and costs each and given one to two years imprisonment by Criminal Judge James A. Collins Tuesday afternoon on a charge of transporting liquor. Lee was sentenced to the Indiana State prison and to the Indiana re formatory. Officer Leroy Bartlett said when the men were arrested near Beech Grove April 29 they asked, “Can't we fix it with you?" Bartlett said neither he nor Sergeant O'Connor nor Officer C. Moriarity would listen to them. Claude Brown. 29, and Charles DeLong, 39. also charged with transporting. were given similar fines and sentences. DeLong was sent to the State prison and Brosvn to the reformatory. CLUB DIRECTORS NAMED Names of nt>w directors of the University of Michigan Club of m dianapolis were announced today. Directors are Judge Moses B. Lalry, Judge Julius C. Travis, Martin Hugg, Herbert E. Wilson, Herman Kothe. Frank Montrose. James L. Mitchell, Dr. George Bond, Carl Wagner, Lucius F.
