ANN HUNTER TO SING FAVORITES OVE| Ml Baldwin Hour of Music Will * Introduce New Artists. Ann Hunter, soprano, who has been a popular participant in several of the Baldwin programs, will again be heard on this program tonight, when she will sing a group of old-time favorites., The Baldwin Tlour of Music this "week will introduce two new artists, Ann Ursula Mathews, harpist and planet, who is a pupil of both Enrico Tramonte, solo harpist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Bomar Cramer of Indianapolis and Walter Delph of Wilkinson, Ind„ a, young tenor singer who possesses a voice of rare beauty and charm. The popular Lincoln Trio, com--posed of Julia Brown Bodner, violin; Okah Lieber, cello, and Berta Miller Jtuick, piano, who have been heard several times on these programs, will play a group of request numbers. Drivers to Talk The Firestone Corner program forecast from WFBM this evening Will go on the air at 9 and continue for three hours, during the program several of the race drivers who participated in the Speedway race today will be heard in short talks. Barney Oldfieid, one of the best known of all race drivers, will be a guest and give a short talk during the program. The Gum Dipped Orchestra, Sunshine Girl and other popular Firestone studio entertainers will also be heard on the program. Popular Orchestra Charlie Davis and his popular orchestra, who were heard for the first time last Thursday evening from WFBM will breadcast two programs a week from the local station during the month of June, according to an announcement just made by Robert Miller, program director of the station. Arrangements have just been completed to broadcast this orchestra from the Hotel Sever in roof garden each Tuesday and Thursday evening between 10 and 11.

FREIGHT RATES TO BE STUDIED Furniture Manufacturers to Form Policy. i Formulation of a policy with * reference to the proposed investigation of transportation regulations and costs against manufacturers of furniture in Indiana will be made at a meeting of manufacturers Friday at the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was called by William 11. Arnett, secretary, and R. B. Coapstick, traffic manager. According to the State chamber, the Interstate Commerce Commission which advocated the investigation is to open up the fairness of the classifications, minimum rates and rules governing furniture shipments. It is understood this step is to be a part of the general rate revision program authorized by Congress. It is estimated Indiana furniture manufacturers will be placed at a serious disadvantage with Illinois and Michigan manufacturers in event there is a tendency on the part of the commission to increase present freight charges.
