In Memoriam Notices IN MEMORIAM—In loving remembrance of our dear mother. Christens Euchring and wife of William H. Euchring. 3246 N. New Jersey St., who passed away six years ago today. May 28. 11120. We watched her fading year by year. As they went slowly by. But cast far from us the fear That she could ever die. And when at last the death stroke came. So swift, so suro. so true. The hearts that held her so fast Wore almost broken too. Mother who gave us the best of her life. Who cherished our secrets, our sorrow, our strife. Who taught us to love, who taught us Mother m "heaven. God keep you today Sadly missed bv her children CLARA. LILLIAN and JOHN FUEHRING and grandson, CART,. SPECULATION ON HEALTH BOARD Democratic Member to Re-, tire June 1. * Folitlejans today were speculating on whether the retirement of Dr. Thomas E. Courtney from the board of health June 1 will mean turning the city hospital and health departments over to those politically “right.” Dr. Courtney is the Democratic health board metpber and is eligible for reappointment. Others said to be considered for the position aro Dr. J. William Wright and Dr. Fred W. Mayer. Mayor Duvall now has only one appointee on the board. Dr. F. E. Jackson. Duvall has not announced his decision on a successor to Dr. Courtney. Some day the position of Dr. Herman G. Morgan, board secretary for many administrations, would be threatened if a Duvall-fao-tion politician succeeds Dr. Courtney.
