TIMES WILL PUT SPRING FESTIVAL ON AIRTONIGHT Program Arranged in Cooperation With Post of American Legion. A radio spring festival will be broadcast tonight over WFBM, Merchants Heat and Light Company station, from the Severin studio by the Indianapolis Times. Part of the musical program was arranged with the cooperation of the Madden-Nottingham Post of the American Legion. The program, which starts at 8:30, will be as follows: Part One Chic Myers and his .Joy Boys playing “San Sue Strut,’’ “Five Foot Two,” "Pretty Little Baby” and "Say It Again.” Part Two Delbert O. Wilmeth speaking on “The Legion and Memorial Day.” Pail Three Chic Myers and his Joy Boys playing “Shake That Thing,” “Who,” “Look Who’s Here” and “After I ,Say I’m Sorry.” Part Four Introducing Mrs. Gladys McClung Gray, coloratura soprano, singing: “Un Doux Lien” and “May Morning." Miss Edyth Loftin will be at the Baldwin Grand. Part Five Miss Edyth Loftin, pianist, playing a group of piano numbers ranging from those written in 1918 up to the present time. Part Six Chic Myers and his Joy Boys playing “Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie," “Do You Believe in Dreams?” “Sweet Child" and "Spanish Shawl.” Part Seven Miss Edith Harper singing “Songs of Songs” and “Just a Cottage Small” with Boyd Johnson at the piano. Fart Eight Singing duet numbers by Davis and Gilliom, talent furnished by the Legion post. Baskerville is a favorite on The Times’ programs. Also Frank C. Huston will sing. This probably will be one of the finest programs heard on the air In many a night. Every evening a London station sends out information, either in sßoken form, or In music, to help the devotees of the feature solve the puzzles printed in a newspaper that day. STATION HAS LONG DAY The KNX, Los Angeles, station log shows an average of sixteen hours a day broadcasting since Jan. 1 and a daily average of fifteen and one-half hours a day since the station opened, Oct. 10, 1924. On two days a week KNX is on the air almost continuously from 7:30 a- m. to 2 the next morning.
