POLICE CHARGE TENJpiSTS Six Alleged to Have Driven Too Fast. Ten motorists -were charged by police Wednesday night. Os these, six were alleged speeders, one of them a youth who also was charged with driving an auto while under the age limit. Alleged speeders were: Abraham Gertie, 34, of 136 E. Fiftieth St.; Elmer Wilson, 13, of 1218 Parker Ave.; Ralph Carr, 23, of 244 S. La Salle St.; Alpha Romine, 22, of 1313 W. Thirtieth St.; Ray McDonald, 19, of 2423 Brookside Ave., and Edgar Hatley, 16, of 1218 W. Twenty-Ninth St., also charged with driving while under age. Four drivers were held for other traffic law violations. MRS. DODGE TO WED? New York Revives Rumor Widow to Marry Artor. Hu Times Special NEW YORK, May s.—The report has been revived in theatrical circles that Mrs. Horace Dodge, widow of the automobile manufacturer and one of the wealthiest women in the country, will be married to Hugh Hillman, an actor and one the divorced husbands of Marjorie Rambeau, the actress. Hillman, who spent the winter at Palm Beach and returned to New York with Mrs. Hodge’s party, said he had heard rumors that he was to marry Mrs. Hodge, Saturday. '“But it seems to me to be a private matter,’’ he said. "I don’t think I can do anything except deny the report wether it is true or false. If it Is a fact and we want it made known, we will announce it at the proper time.” SUSPEND FREIGHT RATES Service Commission Acts on Iron and Steel Charge Complaint. Suspension of freight rates on iron and steel between northern Indiana cities and Indianapolis has been ordered by the public service commission on complaint of the If. J. Holiday Company. The suspension marks continuation of a move to obtain equalized rates through the interstate commerce commission. Hearings will he held later.
