Store was closed Tuesday and today, arranging and marking down stock for memorable selling event starting Thursday, May 6,10 a. m. The W. 11. Bartlett Company, 21 North Illinois street, is retiring from business and will sell out at once their entire stock of more than SIOO,OOO worth of ladies’ and, misses’ wearing apparel. The sale starts tomorrow, Thursday, May 0, at 10 a. m. and promises to be a memorable event for women of Indianapolis and central Indiana. The Bartlett stock consists j of women’s and misses’ line j quality new spring and sum-1 incr apparel, coats suits, j dresses, fur pieces, fur coats, j hosiery, lingerie and millinery. The splendid reputation for value-giving and fair treatment won in Indianapolis diming the several years the Bartlett Company has been in business makes this closing out sale an event of great importance because of the high character of the merchandise and the remarkably low prices at which it will be sold. The merchandise in the Bart-1 lett stock is practically all new, bought in the great, apparel markets of the country for the spring and summer selling season.
