Hi/ Times fioeeinl TAMPA, Fla., May 5. — Eating spaghetti is an art in itself, blit Americans in large numbers are mastering It. according to A. Mortel* Icra. head of one of the largest spaghetti factories in the So-uth, who makes some as much as twenty-two inches long. "It is no longer a dish made exclusively- for Italians,” Mortellora says. ‘‘We make big shipments to Miami. St. Petersburg. Jacksonville and other Florida cities as well as to many southern cities in other States.” Americans are rapidly learning to eat spaghetti, but few can make it as the Italians do, Mortellora says. That’s another art, one which Mortcllera learned from his father who established the factory here In 1594. SHOES BLUB TOO NEW BEDFORD. ASTHMA CURE FOUND •lust Hum Through Nose, Says Berlin Physician. Bn Times Soecial BERLIN. May s.—People afflicted with asthma should "hum" through their noses. It would help them overcome fits and eventually will cure the disease entirely, according to Professor Tlofbauer, well known Vienna laryngologist. Professor Ilofbauer has recently submitted to the Berlin otolarngological society his new cure. It is simple enough. All a person suffering from asthma has to do when a fit approaches is to sit down quietly, rest his head in his hands, close his mouth tightly and make humming sounds through his nose. EAGLES TERRORIZE TOWN BERNE. Switzerland—A pair of golden eagles is terrorizing the inhabitants of the little Swiss village of Illgau. Every day, the two birds swoop down upon the village streets and carry away chickens, cats and full-sized dogs. The eagles are protected by the Swiss game preserving act.
