PRINCES 10 FIVE THRONES DODGE MARITAL HALTER Europe-Wide Campaign on to Lure Them Into Wedlock. LONDON, April 30.—Heirs ter five European thrones are balking at donning the matrimonial halter and a Europe-wide campaign to lure them into wedlock is beginning simultaneously with the opening of the season of moonlight and romance. The Prince of Wales and the Crown Princes of Spain. Italy, Bel glum, and Norway, are the bachelor princes. Occasionally rumor marries them off, but so far none of them has furnished any confirmation. To make things worse, in each country eligible bachelors among the minor princelings and nobility seem to be lagging likewise. Wales Blamed Here gossips directly connect the Prince of Wales' persistent failure to marry with reluctance of other bachelors to walk up to the altar—the argument being that Wales, as the arbiter of fashion, is making marriage unfashionable. Alfonso. Prince of the Asturias, heir to the Spanish throne, Is 10; Humbert of Italy Is 21: Olav of Norway is 23: Leopold of Belgium is 2-4; Wales has reached the advanced age —for a bachelor heir to a throne—of 31, and he will he 32 lri June. Some of the princes may seen young for matrimony, or at least too young to cause worry at their failure to take brides. But heirs tc* thrones age as early as do prizefighters; they are supposed to marry young, so as to raise families and ensure the maintenance of the royal line. Horrible Example Wales, of course, Is the horrible example. Rumor had him matched with Princess Astrid of Sweden. When someone asked him about it, Wales laughed. There may or may not he a further development. Wales seems to he enjoying himself; he dances, plays the hanjolele and bangs trap drums, of which he is fond; exercises strenuously—and all his favorite dancing partners are married women. Every mother is after him. Prince Olav of Norway may be the lirst to fall. Rumor says his ongagement may be announced soon

A “Hooverized" Rug Lasts Longer V RUGS that are constantly cleaned with the “Greater Hoover" will, without doubt, last much longer—because every particle of the substance that destroys nigs is removed! Dirt that you bring in on your shoes becomes imbedded in the nig, and constant walking over it grinds off the nap! Only beating will remove the dirt! And that’s why the Greater Hoover is so effective! “Positive Agitation,” the new scientific principle of beating, employed exclusively by Hoover, brings the destructive dirt particles to the surface of the rugs and the greatly increased Buction power whisks it away! i And Here Are the New Terms Offered for a Limited Time $ 2 DOWN si WEEKLY STREET AND SIXTH FLOORS

lit /*> T r, er /v/xerrf'il both Queen Marie and the Queen of Spain are bringing a daughter along. It is unlikely, however, that either daughter will be mentioned even by gossip in connection with a British Prince, for King George's is a strictly Protestant family, and if Wales or any other British Prince marries a foreign girl she Is almost certain to be a Protestant.
