LESS MARKS AMONGSTUDENTS Census Shows Number Reduced 408 During Year. School pupils under 21 years of'age hav© a tendency to pursue education and not marriage. This was revealed today in a. report of pupils in Marion County schools who married between March, 1925, and 1926. as compared with fig ures for March, 1924, to 1925. The census was taken by William A. Hacker, superintendent of attendance of public schools. From March, 1925, to the same month this year, 1,342 under 21 were married as compared with 1,750 the vtvjr before. nacker said there was no explanai3on for the decrease of 408 marriages. In the last year 256 school children have died. There are about fifty thousand children attending Marion County public schools, figures showed.
