BAR READY TO EXPRESS CHOICE * Members Will Ballot Again on Judicial Candidates. Members of the Indianapolis Bar Association were preparing today for the final vote to determine the choice of attorneys for judicial positions in Marion County. Rival factions of the Republican party here will contest for delegates to the State convention. Lists of candidates, one headed by George V. Coffin and other prepared by the Marion County Voters' League were filed Wednesday with the county clerk. The 235 delegates of Marion County will have much to say if the short-term race goes into State convention for decision. Men are 'aligned for Senator Arthur R. Robinson, and it is believed the league will favor Arch G. Graham, South Bend attorney.
16 STUDENTS HONORED Butler Scholastic Fraternity Elects New Members. Membership of Butler chapter, Phi Kappa Phi, national scholastic fraternity, was increased sixteen students today, according to announcement of Miss Emily Helming, secretary. Students elected "Wednesday: Virginia Curtis, Mary Winter, Lewis Wilson, Florence Pitts, Helen Chandler, Marjorie Chiles, Evelyn Carpenter, Dorothy White, J. J. YORK TAKES UP WORK New Member of Pardon Board to Investigate Fees. Charles C. York of jndianapolis, newly appointed member of the State pardon board, today assumed his duties as secretary of the body, succeeding the late Caleb S. Dertnu. Dr. George S. Hennitiger, president of the board, announced an immediate investigation of the charge that certain attorneys are charging exorbitant fees for appearing in behalf of the prisoners desiring freedom.

SUSPENSION REPORTED Revocation of Truck Certificate Asked in Petition. . In a petition filed today with the public service commission, revocation of the Kiblei Trucking Company’s certificate for its Jndianapo-lis-Terre Haute route 1r asked by the Old Trails Express Company’, a competitor. The complaint alleged the Kibler company violated the law by suspending service and by failure to set up a depreciation reserve fund.
