STROKE FATAL TO OTTO STARK Indiana Artist Will Be Buried Friday. Otto Stark, 67, Indiana artist, died early today at his home, 1722 N. Delaware St., following a stroke of apoplexy. He was one of the older group of artists and had many paintings in tho permanent collection at John Herron Art Institute. Dr. E. W. Dunlavy, Roberts Park M. E. Church pastor, will conduct funeral services at the home Friday at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. Mr. Stark was born here and lived in Indianapolis, except while studying in Cinicinnati, New York and France. He spent some time at New Smyrna, Fla., and Eeland, Mich. He was first president of Indiana Artists Club and a? member of Portfolio Club, Roberts Park Church, and civic organizations. Four children survive*

WOMAN KILLED IN AUTO CRASH Blinding Lights Blamed for Winamac Tragedy. 741/ 'Timm Special WINAMAC, Ind., April 14.—Mrs. Esther Dunbar, 25, of South Bend, was killeid instantly Tuesday night when pinned bentath an automobile near here. Eloyd Wilson, driver, said he lost control of the car when blinded by the lights of an approaching car. Mrs. Dunbar’s neck was broken and her skull fractured. CLUB SUPPORT ASKED Forest Week Will Be Observed Here Beginning April 18. Statewide observance of National Forest week is urged in letters mailed today by State Forester Charles C. Dean to Indiana Women’s Club*. Kiwanis, Rotary Clubs and Chamber, of Commerce. President Coolldge has designated the week of April IS for the observance. Dean Stanley Coulter of Purdue University, chairman of the Indiana Forestry committee, announced .Miller Hamilton, representing the United States Forestry Service, will speak at Indianapolis, Eafayette, Ft. Wayne, Muncie, Huntington and Wabash during the week. CIVIC CLUB TO MEET Finch Park Improvement Will Be Started Soon. Announcement that work will start soon on Finch Bark s $10,1)00 community house, ordered built by the park board several weeks ago, will be made Thursday night at tho Southeastern Civic Improvement Club’s meeting in the church community house. State and Hoyt Aves., John F. White, president, announced. A Chautauqua, organization will present, to the club a proposal to furnish entertainers and lecturers for a weeks series this summer. Proceeds will be used for playground impro vements. POLICE FIND ALCOHOL Driver in Accident Sought on Blind Tiger Charge. Autos driven by Edward E. Pickerill, 2U23 College Ave., and D. D. Jones, Bceclt Grove, collided at North and New Jersey Sts., Tuesday night. Jones left the scene. Police found twenty gallons of alcohol in the Jones auto. He is sought on transporting liquor and blind tiger charges. C. F. I.effel, 50, of 223 K. Michigan St., told police he was crossing Massachusetts Ave., at Michigan St., when struck by an auto driven by E. C, Duckworth. 41) Kenmore Road.
