DISAPPEARANCE OF TWO LINKED Kentucky Ave. Men Missing Three Weeks. Police today attempted to link together the mysterious disappearance DC John Kurtz, 55, of 1903 BelleTontalne St., and Foo Lee, proprietor of a Chinese laundry at 47 Kentucky Ave. Kurtz, who for years was proprietor of a shoe repair shop at 51 Kentucky Ave., next door to the laundry, was last seen March 23. His daughter, Mrs. Alice Orr, with whom he lived, fears her father is dead. She •tated he had been in ill health for tome time before he disappeared, and tnight have taken his life. Theory that he might be an amnesia victim was advanced. Lieut. Fred Drinkut, Sergt. Ed. Deeter and Patrolman Stoddard bfoke into the laundry when it became known that Lee had not been seen for three weeks. It was feared the two missing men would be found dead in the basement of the laundry. Kurtz was said to have visited the fhundry. It is said both Kurtz and Lee were despondent because a realty company sold the lease on their rooms. A search failed to reveal any trace of either Lee or Kurtz.

MR. FIXIT Traffic .Practice at Corner Brings Complaint From Reader.
Let Mr. Fix it present your case to city officials. He is The Times’ representative at the city hall. Write him at The Times. The boys who ride in automobiles are inclined to cut the corner a bit at Capitol Ave. and South St., according to a letter received by Mr. Fixit today. DEAR MR. FIXIT: I wish you would have tho traffic department look into the traffic at Capitol Ave. and South St. Automobiles coming south all make a left turn on the north side of the elevation instead of the south side, making it a very bad crossing. READER. Traffic Inspector Lester Jones will investigate. Perhaps a sign of warning will be placed. DEAR MR. FIXIT: I would like to call your attention to a large moving van that stands in front of a house on N. Patterson St. It has been standing there all winter. They have it on the sidewalk at times, and it makes it bad for we women folks who come from our work at 11 o’clock at night. FOUR WORKING WOMEN. Police will move at once to halt this practice of blocking the thoroughfares.
