HOSPITALS TO GET ADDITIONS Two Authorized by Methodist Trustees. Construction of $400,000 additions to the Indianapolis Methodist Episcopal Hospital and $450,00 additions to the Gary Methodist Hospital will Btart within the next four years, the Rev. O. W. Fifer of the Central Avenue M. E. Church said today. Rev. Fifer secured authorization of the additions a.t the Methodist Episcopal Hospital system trustees’ annual meeting on Thursday. Contracts for the additions will be let when collections on $1,700,000 pledges made in the 1925 fund campaign permit. Indebtedness at the Princeton, Ft. Wayne and Gary hospitals must be discharged, however, before construction will start. The authorization included erection of a nurses’ home, power plant and laundry building at the local hospital, Capitol Ave. and Sixteenth Street.. WOMAN STRUCK WITH BRICKBAT Police Have No Clews to Identity of Assailant. Police today had no clows to the identity of the assailant who struck Mrs. Mollie Bortz, 305 W. Morris St., on the head with a brick Thursday night at Maple and Morris Sts. and fled. She was taken home. Mrs. Bortz said after she was struck she saw a small man, wearing a light cap and suit, running toward Capitol Ave. A man accosted Miss Katherine Goodwin, 24, of 1409 Springdale Ave. at Market and Oriental Sts. Miss Goodwin said she creamed and he ran. Neighbors chaaed him. Police Investigated a report of Mrs. Opal Jared, 1602 Lawton Kt„ that a Negro made three attempts to enter her home about noon Thursday. He tried to force the door.
