As recently as 1920 only 16 electrio railway lines were using motor coaches. But nowadays it is a different story. Every few months another road joins the list of bus owners and Increases the grand total. Mr. Ritchie, a coach manufacturer, told me the exact number. And I figured that this number could be divided into five parts, in such a way, that the second part is 5 times, the third is 15 times, the fourth is 24 times, the fifth is 25 times as large as the first and the smallest part. If the sum of the digits in the total quantity is 2V 2 times as large as the first part, what is the exact number of electric lines using coaches? Last puzzle answer:

It is too bad that the poor old runaway got excited, for it was a very easy task to w-eigh the whole bar of soap. It weighs 2 J /i pounds. If the bar of soap balances with ®4 pounds and 2-3 of a bar then the remaining 1-3 of a bar must weight % of a pound. Thus 3-3 of a bar must weigh 3 times % of a pound. This equals 9-4 of a pound or 2Vi pounds, the above answer. FOURTH GIRL ATTACKED Bloodhounds on Trail of Negro Bandits. BV Vnited Press MADISONVILLE, Ky„ April S.— With bloodhounds, Sheriff Hubert

HAVECOLOR IN CHEEKS Be Better Looking—Take Olive Tablets If your skin is yellow—complexion pallid—tongue coated—appetite poor—you have a bad taste in your mouth—a lazy, no good feeling—you should take Olive Tablets. Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets—a substitute for calomel —were prepared by Dr. Edwards after 17 years of study. Dr. Edwards’ Olive Tablets are a purely vegetable compound mixed with olive oil. You will know them by their olive color. To have a clear, pink skin, bright eyes, no pimples, a feeling of buoyancy like childhood days you must get at the cause. Dr. Edwards’ Olive Tablets act on the liver and bowels like calomel —yet have no dangerous after effects. They start the bile and overcome constipation. Take one or two nightly and note the pleasing results. Millions c.-f boxes are sold annually at 15c and 30c. —Advertisement.
