FATE PONDERED BY PLYMOUTH Folks Wonder if Town Will Be Forgotten. B't Times Special PLYMOUTH, VL, March 26. Plymouth is wondering what is to be the disposition of the old farmhouse where the father of the nation’s President lived and died. Col. Coolidge’s neighbors profited from the fame that came to Plymouth when the chief executive of the United States took the oath of office there. Thousands of tourists came to the otherwise obscure little village. Now the people of Plymouth Notch are wondering whether they must return to obscurity, or whether President Coolidge will retain somo association with his father’s birthplace. The house in which Col. Coolidge lived had been deeded to Ills son some time ago. Plymouth would like to see the President make the farm his “summer white house’’ and is discussing this possibility around the stove in the general store. Many of the villagers favor making the Coolidge homestead a museum. HE WHO GETS SLAPPED Cop Arrests Own Wife for Assault and Battery. Bu Times Special PATTERSON. N. J., March 26.
