OLD BACHELORS ARE SLAMMED BY U.S. EXPERT Generally Speaking He Is Failure in Federal Service. United Press Staff Correspondent WASHINGTON, March 19. —The "old bachelor” generally speaking, Is a failure in Uncle Sam’s service. Herbert D. Brown, efficiency expert for the Government, told the United Press today in an exclusive Interview that he had yet to see a peally successfud bachelor in the Bervice. The bachelor man, unlike the “old maid’—designated by Brown as the gem of Government servants is pelflsh and not get very far, he paid. He presents an excuse for not *3oing something new.
