"Naw, I ain’t worried much, what’s the use now that we’ve gone and done It?” was the way that a 16-year-old youth expressed his feelings over the arrest of his uncle, 18, and himself on vehicle charges early today, as he sat In a city prison cell regarding his escape as a lark. He was Joseph Hoy, 1667 Blaine Ave. M who with his uncle Earl Badgely, 2641 Burton Ave., was found by police trudging along- the National Rd., a half mile east of Bridgeport, Ind., after the auto they had stolen from Don Buis, 1201 Broadway, at Capitol Ave. and Market SL, early Thursday had run out of gas west of Bridgeport. Ulicle Takes Blame "Aw, he didn’t know I stole it,” Badgley said, shouldering the blame, “I told him aTrlend let me have it.” Both the youths said they had been riding around on suburban roads since neon Thursday and were on their way back to Indianapolis when the gasoline supply gave out. ‘‘Gee, if we had just had a few cents to buy a couple~of gallons of gas, we wouldn’t have been caught,” they lamented.
