INDIANA PLAYS ON AIR TONIGHT m FROM SEVERIN Initial Presentation by Times and Theatre Guild Is Planned. By Waiter D. Hickman With the presentation of three one-act plays of Indiana writers by the Indianapolis Theatre Guild on the Times radio program tonight over WFBM, Merchants Heat and i.ight Company from the Gold Room of the Severin, indications are that thousands will be listening in on this unique premier. The Times will start broadcasting the three one-act plays about 9:15 p. m. The three plays to be presented are “The Spirit of Freeman* Stone" by Donald G. King; “Cross-Word Puzzlin’ ” by Mrs. Harry Stedfeld a.nd “A Prophet and His Household” by Sara Kingsbury. All the plays -will be presented under the personal direction of Bert F. Merling, director of the Theatre Guild. About 400 invitations have been issued by Mrs. W. O. Bates of the Guild for members and friends to attend the first performance of these Indiana plays upon any stage in the Gold Room of the •erin. The radio audience will _nber thousands as Theatre Guild listening in parties have been planned all over the State and even Illinois and Ohio have sent requests for the exact time and the wave length. Among the many- patrons and sponsors of the Theatre Guild in promoting and increasing interest in Indiana playwrights, the following additional names have been added by Mrs. Bates as follows: Albert J.
