EDITOR FACES JAIL SENTENCE High Court Affirms Contempt I Charge Punishment. When is contenipt of court not contempt? That is the question puzzling George R. Dale, fiery editor of the Muncie Post Democrat, after two of his skirmishes ‘with the Muncie judiciary have been decided by State Supreme Court. The higher court late Thursday affirmed a SSOO fine and ninety-day jail sentence for indirect contempt f court, "rising from an article published by Dale attacking Delaware County jury commissioners, grand jury members and the judge. The article followed Dale's arrest for prohibition law violation. ln his answer to the original contempt action Dale included a copy of the alleged contemptuous article and was given another SSOO fine and a ninety-day jail sentence. Supreme Court reversed the latter conviction. WILL DISCUSS BOOKS Last Meeting of Season Monday Night at Central Library. The last book meeting of the season under auspices of the Indianapolis Public Library will be Monday night in the Cropsey auditorium, Central Library, at 8 o’clock. It is to be a symposium of book enthusiasts, with Charles E. Rush, librarian, as chairman. || Short book talks on "A Book I Like and Why” will-, be given by Meredith Nicholson, Kate Milner Rabb, Percy Beach, Grace Thompson, Alex Blanton, Anna Ray Burns, Dr. Frank S.C. ZOLLNER FUNERAL HELD West Side Butcher Buried in Crown Hill Cemetery. Funeral services for Charles N. Zollner, 71, west side butcher, who died Thursday, were held at 2 p. m. •today at the home, 1847 W. Washington St., with burial in Crown Hill cemetery.
