CAREY REPORTS INSPECTION OF s 2,241 PLACES Fire Prevention Chief Finds 455 Hazards in January. Inspectors under Fire Prevention Chief Horace W. Carey made 2,241 inspections during: January, according: to a report made public today. Os this number 1,786 places received a clean bill of fire while orders to correct flame hazards were Issued in 455 cases. Rubbish, paper and debris were found responsible for most hazards, according to Carey’s report, while noncombustible containers, inside flues, furnaces, and stoves also ranked high.
