CITY PROFITS BY MEETINGS Conventions Bring In Handsome Return. Indianapolis spent 17 cents and made a profit of $22 last year on each convention visitor to the Hoosler capltol. In other words, on an Investment of $13,000 the city reaped a return of $6,000,000 in 1926. These figures are from the report compiled on the convention bureau’s activities, part of the Chamber of Commerce work, Henry T. Davis, bureau director said. A campaign to raise $25,000 for this year’s work will be started Wednesday, Davis ss.ld. It Is expected that the fund campaign will be completed in five days. William A.
