Two services were held today in memory of AquiUa Q. attorney, who tiled Sunday at his home, 3258 Fall Creek Blvd. At 11 a. m. tribute was paid Mr. Jones by the Indianapolis Bar Association in Circuit Court. James M. Ogden, president, presided. Charles E. Cox, former Indiana Supreme Court judge, pre- ; ented a resolution on the death ot Mr. Jones. Other members of the committee named by Ralph Bamberger, chairman memorials committee, were: Judge E. A. Bailsman, Appellate Court; Judge James A. Collins, Criminal Court; John W. Holtzman, Martin M. Hugg, Henry Spaan, Lew -Wallace, J. Clyde Hoffman and William W. Hammond. Committee members spoke. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. at the Church of the Advent, of which Mr. Jones was a member. The Rev. Clarence W. Blspham, rector, and Bishop Joseph M. Francis of the Indianapolis diocese, officiated. Active pallbearers included three members of the law firm of which Mr. Jones was the senior member, William W. Hammond, C. Severin Buschmann and Alan W. Boyd, and three close friends, Bernard C. Cartin ell, Henry W. Bliss and Br. Frank Abbott. Honorary pallbearers ™cre Henry Eitel, Charles H. Badger, George H. Evans, Linton A. Cox, William H. Howard and Judge James A. Collins. Burial was in Crown Hill cemetery. SLAYER GIVEN LIFE Ilil United Press CLINTON. Ind., Feb. 9.—Fred Woodford, Negro, was to be taken to the State Prison at Michigan City today to serve a life term for murder. Ella J. Freeman, and four brothers and two sisters at Long Beach, Cal.
