YOUNG PEOPLE TAKE CHARGE 0 OF SERVICES The Rev. Line Has Aid of George Mitchell in the Pulpit. SHE young people of the church had charge of the morning church service Sunday at Central Unlversalist Church. The ser monette was preached by one of the young men of the Intermediate Young People’s Christian Union, George Mitchell, hla subject being “The Courage of Youth.” The pastor, the Rev. Fred A. Line, spoke on the subject, "The Challenge of Life.” “Life Is not a Sunday School picnic, but a struggle, a tackling of difficulties, a fighting through to worthwhile achievements. worthwhile achievements of men since history began bear witness to the fact that we are on an engagement very difficult,” the Rev. Mr. Line said. Continuing, he said: "Sometimes we get the idea that life should be easy, that difficulties are evils hindering man’s progress; but the challenge of life is to struggle, to fight, to achieve. The heroic makes a strong appeal to the man who is intent upon living and upon making life morp liveable. The real man is not afraid so tackle the difficult job, face danger, to endure, privation, ■irdship, suffering. A Coward’s Slogan

FORD BROTHERS HELD Others Also Arrested for Alleged Saturday Night Activities. The Ford brothers are held today by police as a result of their alleged activities late Saturday. Joe Ford, 743 W. New York St.; Russell Taylor, Ft. Benjamin Harrison, and Leonard Stark, 803 N. Temple Ave., are held on vagrancy charges, and Zpke Gribble, Ft. Harrison and John McGillivray, 812 S. Capitol Ave., are charged with robbery, after James Anderson, 716 N. Se'hate Ave., told police he was attacked by a gang at Capitol Ave. and Wabash St. and robbed of 85 cents when he refused to drink out of a bottle they offered him. John Ford, 743 W. New York St., and James Nolan, City, are held on blind tiger chargee, and Lucille Burk, 223 Patterson St., ils charged with vagrancy, after the trio was found with liquor in an auto in the rear of 405 W. Washington St. Search is being made for another woman. ARCHITECT TO SPEAK Indiana Group Will Hear Chicago Men Talk, Friday Night. Indiana architects will hear G. Harrick Hammond, Chicago, Fifth regional dlstrcit director of the American Institute of Architects dls•cuss “What the Institute Means to the Architectural Profession as a National Organization," at the Indianapolis Athletic Club.
