Morgan County Prosecutor Omer O’Harrow was the next for the State. S. C. Kivett, chief defense attorney, hoped to save Shaw from the electric chair with his final plea. Judson L. Stark, deputy Marion County prosecutor was to ask the death penalty in closing for the State. “Ilunkey” John, whose name was linked with the two previous trials, but who never before took the witHness stand, testified he was at a Ppicture show the night of the murder.
