Claudia Alba How does 1 it feci to bo the strongest woman in the world? When asked this question through an Interpreter—for she hasn’t boon In this country long enough to learn the language—flaxen haired, blueeyed, Claudia Alba, Europe’s famous strong woman, who is at the Lyric this week, shrugged her shoulders, smiled and replied: "Not any different than it feels to be anything else." Miss Alba, a native of Bavaria, is 23 years old, and is said to be able to lift more weight than any other member of her sex. But there Is nothing In . her appearance that would indicate exceptional strength. She Is rather stockily built, but no more so than the average American girl, who goes In for athletic sports. Mies Alba Juggles 25-pound cannon balls, two of them, at the sams time. She catches an 84-pound steel torpedo Jacket, flung from a spring board, on the back of her neck, Jhggles a Roman chariot on her chin, and, with her teeth, lifts a cannon weighing 225 pounds from tho ground and swings It In mld-alr. She has been engaged in athletics since she was a child of 8, and until four years ago, was an aerial trapeze performer.

(REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.) A Perfect Gasoline x Is Supreme in the Light Gasoline Field For years, the motorist thought of a light gasoline as hightest gasoline. Before Solite wason the market, this was true. But, while Solite is a lighb volatile fuel, it must not be confused with “so-called” high-test gasolines. It is vastly superior. Try it today. Solite does everything that is claimed for the “so-called” high-test gasolines, but in addition, it drives the piston the full stroke under power. There is no piston slapping with Solite in the tank. It was this element, so often found in ordinary high-test gasolines, that the Standard i Oil Company (Indiana) has overcome by using the cracking processes, developed m its own laboratories. That is why Solite is a refining achievement It is a cracked gasoline. It is made for the man who demands quicker action without sacrificing power, and who is willing to pay a little more to get it 3c mor e per gallon. But if you want maximum power, with utmost economy, we recommend that you use our dependable Red Crown Gasoline.
