SIGMA DELTA CHI INITIATES 18 MEMBERS Butler University Chapter Installed —Alumni Elect Officers. Ten students and eight Indianapolis newspapermen were made members of Sigma Delta Chi, professional Journalistic fraternity, at installation of the Butler University chapter Thursday .night at the Columbia Cfuh. De Fauw chapter officers were in charge of installation. 'Growth of the fraternity since its. founding at Do Pauw in 1909 was outlined by Donald H. Clark, national president, of St. Louis, Mo., at the banquet. Chapter Welcomed ‘Voiney B. Fowler of The Times, Hilton U- Brown of The News and Benjaniin F. Lawrence of The Star, and Indiana, Purdue and De Pauw representatives welcomed the thirtyni.ith chapter. James A. Stuart, national vice president, was toastmaster.
