International Week Schedule This official schedule has been announced by the International Radio Week committee for broadcasts in the International Radio Broadcasting Tests, ,Jan. 24th to 30th. Each night of the week. Special programs from American, Canadian, Cuban. Mexican and South American stations for European listeners, 9 to 10 p. m. pentral time. Sunday to Thursday, inclusive. Silence by American, Canadian, Mexican and Cuban broadcasters from 10 to 11 central time to per* mit reception from overseas. High powered stations in England and the continent will be on the air. Friday, Jan. 29 10:00 to 10:15 Central Time—Eastern Time stations. 10:15 to 10:30 Cedtral Time—Central Time stations.10:30 to 10:45 Central Time —Mountain zone stations. 10:45 to 11:00 Central Time—Pacific Coast stations. Only one group will be on the air at a time in this period. Saturday, Jan. 30 10:00 to 10:15—Central 'fame—Canadian stations. 10:15 to 10:30 Central Time—Stations in Northern U. S. 10:30 to 10:45 Central Time—Stations in South U. S. 10:45 to 11:00 Central Time—Cuba and Mexico stations. Only one group will be on the air at a time in this period. At 11 Central Standard Time each night of the week all stations will resume regular program fccftfedules.

Authorities in all branches of science the world over are one in the opinion th'at no test or experiment yet held has ever come near to approabhiog"'what the international broadcasting offers from the standpoint of the interest aroused, the number of persons who will participate and be directly benefited, the new channels that will be opened up in radio, and the manner in which promise is given in drawing together the nations of the world in the new science. Europe from 9 to 10, Central Standard time. This will make it necessary for European listeners to be prepared jo hear the American programs from 3 to 4 in the morning, European time. The European stations will then broadcast to American listeners from 4 to 5 a. m., London time, on the first -live nights. These programs will be heard in the Central States from 10 to II each evening. Service for Fans To enable local fans to practice tuning and thus prepare them to find the European stations with a minimum loss of time, The Times publishes a list of the more important trans-Atlantic broadcasters with their location as to wave length plotted in reference to Anverican stations. The Times will publish each day a list of the listeners who are successful in logging European stations. The writer has been appointed official observer for this district by the international committee, and has the authority to certify the reception of foreign programs.
