WOOLLEN SAYS PRICESSTABLE Largest Measure of Prosperity Enjoyed in Years. Evans Woollen, Fletcher Savings ajid Trust Company president, in a business review which is a part of the published statement of condition of the company, said today: “We have come to the end of the year and of the quarter century in prosperity. One of the reassuring factors in this prosperity is stability in prices of which we are enjoying the largest measure that we have known for years. Others factors are agricultural conditions somewhat improved, equilibrium between agricultural and other prices more nearly established, unemployment at a minimum, wages good, construction unabated, unfilled steel orders gaining, railroad efficiency at a peak, automobiles at the rate of four millions a year, European rehabilitation hastened by .Locarno. Our own community appears hardly up to the average in the enjoyment of this prosperity. “A feature of the year thus ending in optimism that seems unafraid has been credit expansion. The reserves in the Federal Reserve banks are a quarter billion lea sthan a year ago, the reserve ratio some 6 per cent less and the bills discounted nearly a half billion greater. "The items which the cautious will have in mind as they try to forecast beyond the spring are the in creasing installment buying, the chance that our menacingly largo gold supply will be farther enlarged with consequent inflation, the continuing diversion of liquid capital into long term investments, the danger that the building boom which has been so important an element in our prosperity will collapse instead of easing off, and the bull market in securities of whose end recent reactions give suggestion. CRASH MAY CLAIM TWO Another Victim in Fatal Accident Near Death. Bu United Press . ■ SHELBYVILLE, Ind., Jan. 13. Thomas Tillison, Shelby County stock buyer, was in a critical condition today with injuries received when the auto in which he was riding was struck by a train late Tuesday. John Oldham, 72, another stock buyer, was killed in the crash.

HOW conscious we are of our skin! Even one little pimple or blackhead will so embarrass us that we want to hide right away. And eczema, boils, blotches and rashes! Why, these awful things Bimpiy destroy all our ambition! But what confidence we have in ourselves if our skin is clear and unblemished—free from any erup- J tlons or breaking out! A clear skin Is one of the greatest possessions in the world—and it is so easy to have it. All that Is necessary is to keep our systems full of rich, red, pure blood. S. S. S. helps Nature build this blood. And the impurities that cause these so-called skin disorders are driven right out of the system. If you want the kind of skin that captivates men and compels the admiration of other women, just remember that you can’t have it if yohr blood is impoverished. But, just build red-blood-cells in your blood with S. S. S. and your dream of a soft, rosy, velvet skin, clear of blemishes, will be reallzed.
