73 YEARS OF COURTEOUS SERVICE Est. 1852
Indiana’s Hardware Department Store
aODAY as we stand on the threshold of anew year and look back through the eye* of reminiscence and memory to the modest beginning of this institution, 73 years ago, from a small one-room store to its present position as the largest hardware store in the State, we feel a pardonable pride in our steady and substantial growth. However, as we face the new year, we realize that we have before us a greater responsibility and a deeper obligation to the public than ever before. So we say to our many friends and patrons who have made our success possible, that the same spirit of fair dealing, the same desire to serve and the same ideals with which Clemens Vonnegut, Sr., our founder, was imbued, shall continue in equally full measure as the policy of this institution. We are grateful forVour past patronage and trust that we will continue to deserve it in the future. We wish you and yours a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
