A poultry dealer of southwestern Ohio, on surveying his coops after Christmas, found that he had sold all his turkeys and ducks, and all his chickens coops of geese were almost full. No one seemed to want them, so he decided to sell them to private individuals. The first day he sold half of the geese and one half a goose. The second flay he sold a third of the remainder and a third of a goose. The third day he sold a quarter of those left and a quarter of a goose. During the last few days before New Year he sold one-fifth of the balance and one-fifth of a goose. He returned one more than he sold on-ihe second day to their coops.
