Pike withheld |udgment against him when he was tried on a charge of assault and battery In Criminal Court, Thursday afternoon. Glrton is alleged to have seriously Injured Miss Laurel Davis, $, of 1402 N. Holmes Ave., when his automobile struck and dragged her teveral feet. He appealed from city court, where he was fined SIOO and Dosts and sentenced sixty days In lan. However, he was fined $lO and hosts on a charge of speeding thirtyfive miles an hour.
