SEES RIVER TRAFFIC Mayor-Elect of Madison Predicts Revival of Transportation. Revival of liver transportation was predicted by Marcus R. Sulzer, mayor-elect of Madison, Ind., in Indianapolis returning from a national river conference at Washington, D. C. Sulzer believes rivers will be linked with railroads in a. plan for obtaining cheaper transportation. “It will not be long before ships cane bloaded on the Ohio and will carry cargo to foreign soil without being reloaded,” Sulzer said. Sulzer expects an increased business in American crude drugs the coming year. MARMON HEAD SPEAKS Williams Tells A. S, M. E. of Different Sides of Industries. BUS FARE INCREASED Interstate Company Gets Order From Public Service Commission. Asa result of an order announced today by the public service commission, the Interstate Public Service Company will be authorized to increase its fares on motor busses between Indianapolis and Seymour approximately 100 per cent. The order allows a basic cash fare of 3 cents a mile; twelve tickets in a strip, good one week, for 2 cents a mile; twelve tickets in a strip, good one month, at 2*4 cents a mile, and forty-ride commutation ticket for twenty-five times the one-way fare plus 75 cents.
