TECH STUDENTS TO GOON AIR Program Will Be Broadcast Wednesday Night. Technical High School will open anew school activity Wednesday, when a radio program will be broadcast over WFBM from 8 to 10 p. m. Walter L. Johnwil* talk on M Mildred Schaef ' Boy's Qless Club Johnson will sing several selections. The school band and brass octette Will present a number of Christmas carols. To close the program a group of yell leaders will give several of Tech’s yells. MARKET SELLS MOBKTEDTREES Holly and Wreaths Also Are on Stands. Mounted Christmas trees, shipped in from Maine, were priced at |1 find up, today at the city market. The supply is plentiful end no shortage is anticipated, but the better shaped trees are selling rapidly. Molly wreaths sold at 10 and 40 cents each. Loose holly was priced from 20 to 60 cents a bunch. Cranberries dropped 6 cents to a price of 20 cents a pound. Eggt Were unchanged and sold at 65 conU> a dozen. Other prices Included: alligator pears, 80 cents each. Florida orangee 60 cents a dozen; California oranges 60 cents a dozen; peas, 26 cent a pound; grapefruit, 10 and 16 cent* each; pineapples, 40 and 60 cents each; Florida tomatoes, 85 oenta e pound, and hot house tomatoes, 4t cents a pound. Butter sold at 66 cents a pound chickens were 40 and 45 cents j pound;, turkeys, 60 and 65 cents . pound, ducks, 40 dents a poun green and wax beans, 20 cents . pound and cabbage 5 cents a pound.
